Souss Massa Initiative Counter
Souss Massa Initiative is an association of honorary loans "interest-free and unsecured loans" inspired by the French experience of local initiative platforms federated under the name of Initiative France, which is now the leading player in supporting business creation in France with 210 platforms located almost throughout the country. This network now creates more than 16,000 businesses, which generate 37,000 jobs per year.
Objective
Creation of an honorary loan fund
⇒ To strengthen the contribution of equity and allow project leaders to mobilize bank loans (for example, for INITIATIVE France, €1 of honorary loan allows €8 to be mobilized from banks)
⇒ Honorary loans can be given to people wishing to create a sole proprietorship "natural person", but also to people wishing to create a company "legal person". In the latter case, the loan is granted to the person, and not to the company.
Setting up a monitoring/support unit
⇒ Help with preparing the file
⇒ Monitoring over the repayment period (through support, recourse to experts in the sector of activity and/or local operators)
Networking of partners and skills
⇒ Guidance of project leaders towards business creation support structures, etc.
⇒ Use of existing skills locally and according to the needs of project leaders (particularly for support)
